The Weekly Whimsy - June 22nd, 2026
A weekly newsletter where I share 3 small ways to add more whimsy to your day, 2 quotes worth saving, and 1 new thing I’m trying in 2026.
Welcome to The Weekly Whimsy!
Hey friend! I hope this Weekly Whimsy finds you well, and dare I say… more than well! Fantastic! I recently had a conversation with someone about how when your problems feel big, go somewhere you feel small. May you find a big sky, big tree, big body of water, big something that makes you feel small this week.
3 whimsies for the week
Go on a color walk.
Pick a color and keep an eye out for it when you’re on a walk. You can take photos of it if you’d like, or just keep a list in your head. You’ll be amazed at how colorful the world is when you look for it!
Embrace your inner Michelangelo!
This one’s quirky - but when I was a kid my mom would come into class and teach art. For one of the lessons we all got a bar of soap and a butter knife and carved our own sculptures! It’s surprisingly therapeutic and plus, now you’ve got soap!
Get *stellar* and make Star Water.
Set a jar of water by your windowsill over night where the stars can watch over it. In the morning, drink your now very, definitely, magical ~Star Water~ to get a little extra stardust in your body for the day.
2 quotes to tuck away
“Are you climbing a mountain for the world to see you, or for you to see the world?” - unknown
“All morning it has been raining. In the language of the garden, this is happiness.” - Mary Oliver
1 thing I’m trying
I’m trying out green sparkly nail polish. It’s so fun and whimsical!
Wishing you a week full of the good stuff! <3

Felt very whimsical yesterday! I went out onto the green outside my house and blew bubbles with my cousin, it was so much fun and reminded me of being a child again.
I just got Substack not too long ago and this has really been the best notification I can get every week. Thank you!
